Look what I got in the mail today!

clearly, i've become a fan of alan moore since "watchmen", and i love batman already so i figured why not try "the killing joke". plus the illustration is AMAZING. i heard of "y: the last man" from the new GQ issue (robert pattinson is on the cover btw) and it sounded very humorous and appealing plus, again, great and very modern illustrations. lastly, another alan moore phenomenon = "v for vendetta". i watched the film, and i assume the graphic novel is even better (they usually are) so i decided to order that as well. i'm well aware that i'm way behind on that one. i watched the film ages ago and have been wanting to read the graphic novel for quite sometime but haven't gotten around to it.

Getty Villa

So yesterday (technically thursday) was tons of fun. Almara and I went to the Getty Villa. I took tons of photos. I had so much fun. Malibu is soooo gorgeous and the weather was amazing! SLR cameras just do it better. i'm playing around with manual modes, f-stops, ISO settings, etc. i think i'm going to invest in a wide angle lens and speedlight flash soon. i haven't had a chance to venture out lately and do some real photography, so these are just snapshots from around the house. my camera's like a dog or puppy. it needs to be taken out for walks and fresh air sometimes too.
